Dear College Parents

Thank you for your support last night at the inter-house singing competition which brought the curtain down on the 2017 Eisteddfod. It was a spectacular end to a really special event. Congratulations to every boy who took part, and to Mark Mitchell and his team for their superb organisation. Well done to Gray House who are the overall winners this year. The results can be viewed here.

Richard Smith continues to make progress in the ICU. He is off sedation and off the ventilator, breathing on his own. He is able to communicate to some degree non-verbally with staff and family. His neurologist says that he has responded well to treatment so far and that his strength and fitness will stand him in good stead. However, he has sustained a neurological injury and he faces a prolonged period of hospitalisation and rehabilitation. We continue to pray for Richard, his wife Nina and children Lara and Sebastian.

It was good to see our Head boy, Christian Rohrer, in the Kidd House singing last night. Christian is doing well and starts another round of chemotherapy on Monday next week. We continue to hold Christian in our thoughts and prayers.

I would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday and safe travels.

Yours sincerely

Guy Pearson
