Dear College Parents

"The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs…one at a time." Joe Girard.

The Grade 11 and 12 exams are in full swing and are going well. Our matrics have had some challenging papers but this is good, as they are well equipped to cope with them. Next week exams begin for Grade 8 and 9 and the Grade 10s leave for their Epic adventure to the Cederberg. We wish them well.

Over the past decade Bishops Rugby has been sponsored by Vital Health Foods. This comes to an end this year and we would like to thank them most sincerely for their generosity and support. It has been a great brand to be associated with and we have enjoyed an excellent relationship.

We are very privileged to have a pair of Spotted Eagle Owls resident at Bishops. Over the past few days there has been great excitement as a "baby owl" has appeared and we have been enthralled as it takes its first steps and tumbles out of the trees, with parents always keeping a "beady eye" close by! Please follow this link for a wonderful "owlbum"! There are also some pictures of our guinea fowl nursery, which has taken up residence in the Principa's garden!

As we hurtle towards the end of the year I would like to remind you that the last day of school for our Grade 8-11 boys is on Friday 4th December. The programme for this day will be as follows:

House Meeting 07h50 to 08h05
Carol Service 08h15 to 09h15
Final Assembly 09h15 to 09h45

Parents are welcome to join us at the Carol Service and Final Assembly. Boys will be free to leave school at 09h45.

Please follow the link to see today's assembly notices.

Yours sincerely
