Dear College Parents

"When the well is dry, we learn the worth of water" Benjamin Franklin

We all know that the water situation in the Western Cape is dire and that we only have 120 days of water left in our dams. In an effort to highlight the seriousness of the issue and in order to save some water boys may come to school in their sports kit if they are playing sport in the afternoon so that they only have to wash one set of clothing at the end of a day.

Some conditions:
  1. Any clothes worn must be regulation Bishops or House clothes.
  2. The shirt worn must have a collar.
  3. The footwear worn must be closed track shoes.
  4. A blazer is worn to chapel.
  5. Number 1s will be worn to the final Chapel service and other formal occasions.
This dispensation will continue until the end of term 1 and then be considered for term 2.

Please see the attachment for term dates for 2018.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Yours sincerely

Guy Pearson
