College ICT Curriculum Integrator


The following position will become available at Bishops Diocesan College with effect from January 2026.

This role plays a key part in that journey-providing ICT guidance, training and support to inspire and engage teachers as they continue to grow professionally.

Job description: Support learning and teaching systems by engaging with HOD's and teachers in effective and appropriate use of ICT, improve professional competencies and provide technical support and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with academic staff to determine their personal use of IT, particularly in their lessons
  • Meet with HODs and teachers regularly to plan and support curriculum integration
  • Assist with training in developing digital resources and maintaining Intranet and other learning programmes with the aim of leveraging optimal use of IT in the classroom
  • Explore and create innovative and collaborative models of ICT-integrated instruction and ICT-supported management within the prescribed software suites
  • Work with teachers in the classroom in a mentoring role / assist with the introduction of new software
  • Develop and offer training programmes
  • Work with Resource Centre Manager on research skills programmes
  • Assist with new staff and student systems orientation
  • Stay abreast of current educational software solutions and teaching methods
  • Assist with software licensing and laptop onboarding
  • Assist with first line software support

IsiXhosa Teacher IsiXhosa FAL / SAL / Conversational IsiXhosa Grades 8-12


The following position will become available at Bishops Diocesan College with effect from January 2026, if not possible then Term 2, 2026.

Bishops seeks to appoint a passionate and committed IsiXhosa teacher to join our academic staff. The successful candidate will teach across IsiXhosa First Additional Language, Second Additional Language, and Conversational IsiXhosa classes in Grade 8, with a focus on inspiring and supporting boys to reach their potential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be qualified and have appropriate experience at the required levels
  • Be computer literate and have experience of using computers in education
  • Show creativity and motivation in the classroom
  • Be a member of SACE and a South African Citizen
  • Be able to contribute to the Academic, Sporting, Pastoral and Cultural Life of the School
  • Be able to work effectively as a member of a team dedicated to the development and care of all pupils
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills
