Music Instrumental Teaching


The Bishops (Diocesan College) Music Department, in Cape Town, is looking to appoint enthusiastic, experienced, part-time instrumental teachers for the following posts:

PART-TIME VIOLIN / VIOLA POST (PREP AND COLLEGE)

The applicant should be a violin specialist, hold a recognised music degree and have experience at teaching from beginner to advanced levels. Willingness to work with and/or conduct ensembles would be an advantage. The post will include teaching both subject and non-subject students.

PART-TIME PIANO POST (COLLEGE)

The applicant should be a violin specialist, hold a recognised music degree and have experience at teaching from beginner to advanced levels. Willingness to work with and/or conduct ensembles would be an advantage. The post will include teaching both subject and non-subject students.

PART-TIME PIANO POST (COLLEGE)

The applicant should be a piano specialist, hold a recognised music degree and have experience at teaching from beginner to advanced levels. The ability to teach both Classical and Contemporary / Jazz would be an advantage. The post will include teaching both subject and non-subject students.

The position is effective from January 2023.
