School Chaplain

The successful incumbent will:

  • Abe an ordained priest within the Anglican Church of Southern Africa
  • have an appropriate theological qualification and experience in ministry
  • be able to lead the spiritual life of the school and contribute meaningfully to pastoral care within the school
  • be a strong communicator and teacher with good organisational skills
  • demonstrate experience in or an understanding of ministry in a boys’ school environment
  • be an enthusiastic Christian, strong of faith and possess leadership and good interpersonal skills
  • be committed to helping individuals discover and grow in the Christian faith
  • be willing to participate and engage fully in the life of the school and the broader community
  • have ensured his/her application has been endorsed by his/her current Anglican Bishop prior to application.

Bishops offers a competitive remuneration package which includes school housing. Commencement date is 16 April 2018 (or later by mutual arrangement).
