PLACEMENT FEE - 2025
Grade N to Grade 12
The Diocesan College (“Bishops”) Council requires a Placement Fee from all new entrants into the school. The Placement Fee is a once-off, non-refundable payment per boy (applicable to all siblings) prior to commencing at the school.
Payment of the Placement Fee is an essential requirement prior to admission, and this must be made immediately after being formally offered a place at the school. Proof of payment must accompany the signed “Acceptance of Place” form. Enrolment will not take place until the Placement Fee reflects as a deposit in the Bishops bank account.
Please note, the Placement Fee will be forfeited by the parent if a place has been accepted and the pupil is withdrawn before he has commenced at the school.
The value of the Placement Fee will vary according to a boy’s grade of admission to the school and whether he is a sibling or not, as per the table below, and is valid from his point of entry for the duration of his career at Bishops.

Please note that where parents reside outside the borders of South Africa, then in addition to the non-refundable Placement Fee, a further refundable Boarding Deposit of R36 000 (approximately one term’s boarding fee) is also payable as part of the admission requirement to the College.
Special academic and Placement Fee provisions apply for entry into Grade 11. Please contact our Admissions Office for further details.
Please note that the Placement Fee is payable only when a place is offered to your son in writing, and not on application.
